1. Agreement

By creating an account, accessing the dashboard, or using the API, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use DocxAPI for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Accounts and API keys

You must provide accurate account information and keep authentication credentials and API keys confidential. You are responsible for activity performed with your account or keys. Notify us promptly at contato@searchops.com.br if you suspect unauthorized use. We may revoke compromised keys or restrict access to protect the service.

3. Service and changes

DocxAPI converts supported Markdown, HTML, or structured JSON into DOCX. Output can vary with input structure and the conversion engine. Features, limits, and formats are those documented in the dashboard and API documentation at the time of use.

We may improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or a particular response time unless a separate signed agreement says otherwise. Preview, beta, and free features may change without notice.

4. Plans, credits, and billing

Paid subscriptions renew according to the billing interval shown at checkout until canceled. Prices, included generations, overage rates, and taxes are shown before purchase. Stripe processes payments. Failed payments may result in restricted paid features.

Unless required by law or stated otherwise at purchase, charges already incurred are non-refundable. Canceling stops future renewals but does not retroactively refund the current billing period. Each successful generation consumes usage according to the active plan. Promotional or bonus credits may have separate conditions displayed when issued.

5. Your content and responsibility

You retain rights in content you submit. You grant us a limited right to process it solely to provide, secure, and support the service. You represent that you have all necessary rights and lawful grounds to submit the content and instruct its processing.

You are responsible for reviewing generated documents before relying on or distributing them. DocxAPI does not provide legal, accounting, medical, or professional advice, and generated output is not a substitute for qualified review.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use DocxAPI to violate law or third-party rights; distribute malware; probe or bypass security or rate limits; interfere with service operation; resell access in a misleading way; generate abusive or fraudulent material; or process content you are not authorized to handle. Automated use is allowed through documented interfaces and within plan limits.

7. Warranty disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and error-free operation. This disclaimer does not exclude rights that cannot legally be waived.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SearchOps will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, business, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability related to the service will not exceed the amount paid by you for DocxAPI during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

9. Suspension, termination, and general terms

You may stop using the service or cancel a paid plan through the available account or billing controls. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, security risk, unlawful use, nonpayment, or harm to the service. Provisions that by nature should survive termination remain effective.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without excluding mandatory protections available in your jurisdiction. Before formal proceedings, the parties should attempt good-faith resolution by contacting contato@searchops.com.br. If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. Updated terms will show a new effective date.
